Healthy Eating
Over 100 years ago, scientist Thomas Edison (prolific inventor of the light bulb, motion picture camera and other things) had the foresight to observe that “the doctor of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but will rather cure and prevent disease with nutrition”.
We still aren’t quite there but there are many things we can do to help improve our health by following a healthy diet.
But what exactly is a healthy diet? There is so much information out there for us to read and unfortunately there is also a lot of misinformation.
What is clear though is that the 21st Century has given us the highest levels of the so called lifestyle diseases of Cardio Vascular Disease, Diabetes and Obesity we have ever known, not to mention increases in the incidence of cancers. And yet all of these are considered to be to some degree preventable through following a healthy lifestyle.
Starting with a Health and Lifestyle Analysis to assess your current position, I recommend Healthy Eating Programmes tailored to the each individual client’s needs to help you achieve your goals and provide a sustainable solution – whether that be to boost your energy levels, improve your sleep quality, lose some weight or just generally to improve your overall sense of wellbeing. No gimmicks, no quick fixes, just healthy food.
I also run Challenges to help kick start the process. The 30 Day Challenge is a great way to kick start your health and wellness journey and when you see the results after just 30 days, you are sure to want to upgrade to the 90 Day Challenge. Prices start from £75 for the 30 Day Challenge and this includes:
- Initial Lifestyle Analysis to identify areas that need improving
- Challenge Manual
- Menu Plans and meal ideas
- Recipes
- Shopping lists
- Membership of an online VIP Group providing regular motivation and healthy eating tips
- Weekly progress phone call
- An appropriate range of supplements to support your body as you go through the necessary changes to your habits and lifestyle
I’m often asked what I think about the use of supplements and my answer is simply that a good quality supplementation regime is essential in the modern world as most of our soil has been stripped of nutrients due to intensive farming needed to feed an ever increasing population. This is why I recommend supplements that I have found, that are of the highest quality, plant based and beyond organic and I am always happy to advise on a suitable supplement regime to suit your needs.
